Description of Vías Verdes

Alicante has a great heritage of abandoned railway lines that crisscross its different regions. The route we propose recovers 15 km of an 84 km route, where the Xixarra train previously circulated. From the Sanctuary of the Virtues to the municipality of Biar, it is possible to enjoy the charm of these Alicante lands and also connect with the Camino de Santiago del Sureste.
