The Bidasoa is a small Basque-Navarrean river that evokes the Irun border crossing towards France. Precisely its border character, together with its even railway, constitute its peculiar hallmarks. The Bidasoa Greenway recovers a good part of the route of the Txikito Train (Irun-Elizondo) and offers an unforgettable 42 km route through beautiful towns in Navarra and Gipuzkoa on the banks of the Bidasoa River. This route is part of the EuroVelo1 route.
