The Pyrinexus route, with a total of 340 kilometers, travels a great diversity of landscapes and crosses centenary forests, unique volcanoes, natural parks, vineyards and virgin coves. This circular route will allow you to know two territories with a lot of history: the regions of Girona and the Vallespir. You will find historical paths such as those of the withdrawal, places that will transport you to the Greek and Roman era such as the ruins of Empúries, and emblematic cities such as Girona. Throughout the route you will find charming hotels, a recognized gastronomic and wine tradition, and services dedicated to cyclista. You will pedal on green roads, forest tracks and little traveled roads. Therefore, it is advisable to use a gravel hybrid bicycle, trekking or similar. It is an ideal route to do with saddlebags, at your pace and enjoying the territory.
