Wetlands between vineyards and olive trees. In the middle of the Toledo spot it was inaugurated at the beginning of the 20th century, the railway line that united Villacañas and Quintanar of the Order, through the towns of the town of Don Fadrique and the Puebla de Almoradiel. The arrival of this train, popularly known as "El Trenillo", favored the gradual abandonment of cereal crops, scarcely profitable in the area, opening the way to wine production that is still maintained and contributed greatly to the socio -economic improvement of the entire region.
